Chinese President Xi Jinping embarked on a state visit to the United States on Wednesday, reflecting ongoing diplomatic efforts between the two nations. The visit, initiated at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, aims to address key issues such as trade and economic relations.
Accompanying President Xi is his wife, Peng Liyuan, alongside prominent Chinese officials. Among them are Cai Qi, a member of the Political Bureau Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Wang Yi, China’s foreign minister and a member of the Political Bureau.
