In a significant move to enhance its computing capabilities, Indian AI infrastructure firm AM Intelligence has committed to an ambitious $8 billion project. The Hyderabad-based company has ordered 9,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin AI systems, marking a substantial investment in expanding advanced computing capacity. The new servers, which will be powered by Nvidia’s next-generation systems, are set to go online in southern India next year. By implementing these systems, AM Intelligence plans to initially establish a computing capacity of 1 gigawatt. Looking ahead, the company has set its sights on expanding this capacity to 5 gigawatts globally by the year 2030, showcasing its long-term vision for growth in the field of AI infrastructure.
