China’s top diplomat, Wang Yi, has called on Japan to address what Beijing sees as inappropriate statements and actions by Japanese leaders regarding Taiwan. This appeal was made during a meeting in Beijing with Takeshi Iwaya, president of the Japan Association for the Promotion of International Trade.
