President Xi stressed the importance of Palestinians having control over their own affairs, specifically in the governance of the West Bank and the reconstruction of Gaza. His comments came during discussions with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, underlining China’s stance on the importance of Palestinian governance in Palestinian territories.
The dialogue between the two leaders also focused on enhancing the strategic partnership between China and Jordan. They explored ways to expand collaboration across multiple sectors, including trade, infrastructure, transportation, digital technology, artificial intelligence, and green energy. The meeting concluded with the signing of several cooperation agreements.
