A Letter From Your Pet: What They Wish You Knew About Travel

Date:

Dear Human, I see you packing that big bag again, and I have some thoughts. I love adventures with you, I really do! But sometimes, you forget that this whole travel thing is a bit weird for me. So, I made a list of things I wish you knew.
First, that box you call a “carrier”? It’s much less scary when you let me hang out in it at home. When you toss my favorite treats in there and put my softest blanket inside, it feels more like my personal clubhouse and less like a trap. So please, let’s make friends with the box before the car starts moving.
Also, you know that super-exciting game of fetch we play? Could we do that right before we get in the car? When I’m all tired and sleepy, the rumble of the engine just feels like a nice nap machine. If I’m full of zippy energy, I just want to bounce around, and it’s hard to do that in my clubhouse.
Lastly, I get really thirsty, and those long stretches on the big road are boring. I love it when we stop and I can sniff some new grass and have a good drink. And please, please, make sure my collar is on tight. I don’t know where we are, and if I get lost, that little tag is my only ticket back to you. Thanks for listening. Your Best Friend.
