Xi Jinping Meets Russian State Duma Chairman to Strengthen Strategic Partnership

Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of Russia’s State Duma, in Beijing on Tuesday to reaffirm the strength of China-Russia relations.

Reflecting on his recent state visit to Russia, Xi highlighted the shared history of sacrifice made by both nations during World War II. He recalled the significant roles played by China and the Soviet Union on the Asian and European battlefields, stressing their contributions to the global victory over fascism.
