The first category to eliminate is sugary drinks. According to the specialist, sodas and sweetened juices are a major source of empty calories and, more importantly, high-fructose corn syrup. This type of sugar is especially tough on the liver, as it promotes fat storage, inflammation, and insulin resistance, all of which are hallmarks of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
The second simple step is to cut out deep-fried foods.
